Music connects us. Respect keeps us here.
These standards apply to posts, comments, profiles, communities, messages, and shared music. We consider context, severity, and account history before taking action.

Harassment and bullying
Do not target people with abuse, sexual harassment, intimidation, or repeated unwanted contact. Criticism of music is welcome; personal attacks and coordinated harassment are not.
Hateful conduct
Do not attack, dehumanize, or encourage discrimination or violence against people based on protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
Violence and threats
Do not threaten people, encourage real-world violence, glorify violent attacks, or coordinate harm. Creative expression and fictional lyrics are assessed in context, not treated as threats simply for discussing difficult subjects.
Child safety and exploitation
Sexual exploitation of minors, grooming, sexualized depictions of minors, trafficking, and content facilitating abuse are prohibited. Do not upload or reshare abusive material, including in reports.
Sexual abuse and graphic content
Do not share non-consensual intimate material, sexual abuse, pornography, or gratuitously graphic violence. Explicit music must use the applicable content labels. Music and artistic context do not excuse exploitation or abuse.
Privacy and personal information
Do not expose private addresses, financial information, credentials, intimate material, or other sensitive personal information without permission. Do not threaten to reveal private information.
Scams malware and fraud
Do not post phishing, malicious downloads, fraudulent offers, impersonation scams, or links intended to steal information or compromise devices. Do not misrepresent your identity or platform affiliation.
Spam and platform manipulation
Do not flood conversations with unsolicited music links, repetitive promotions, deceptive engagement, bots, or coordinated manipulation. Share music in the appropriate spaces and respect submission and reply rules.
Copyright and other rights
Only share music, artwork, lyrics, and other material you own or have permission to use. Respect credits and other people's rights. Copyright claims and counter-notices also follow the separate DMCA process.
Evasion and illegal activity
Do not evade account restrictions, facilitate illegal activity, sell access to accounts, or interfere with platform security. Additional community rules cannot override these standards.
Automatic content checks
Rules-based checks may prevent rapid or duplicate posting, excessive hashtags, prohibited links and other clear structural problems. If a submission is blocked, revise the content or wait as directed. A blocked submission does not by itself create an account infraction.
Possible phrase matches, exposed contact information, suspicious links and unusual activity may be sent to moderators for context review. A match is not proof of a violation. Lyrics, quotations and legitimate contact information can match. Account infractions and restrictions require a separate moderator decision. Automated checks do not guarantee that all harmful content or links will be detected.
Enforcement and repeat violations
Moderators select a specific rule and preserve a private record of the content that was restricted or removed. Your notice explains the decision, links to the rule, and states any account restriction. Read the notice and acknowledge the Community Standards and Terms of Use before resuming social participation.
Depending on context, severity, and prior violations, staff may issue a warning, mute social participation for 24 hours or 7 days, suspend an account for 7 days, or ban an account. Severe violations may lead directly to suspension or a ban. Acknowledging a notice does not shorten a restriction or automatically restore content. Permanent bans require an explicit staff decision, not a fixed automatic strike count.
Appeals and corrections
You can request a review from your infraction notice, including while suspended or banned. Explain why the decision should be reconsidered without reposting harmful material. Acknowledging the standards does not waive your ability to appeal or require you to agree that the moderation decision was correct.
Staff can uphold or revoke a decision. A revoked infraction is marked as revoked and does not count as an active violation. Content can only be restored if it still exists. Other active restrictions remain in force. Existing notices without a saved content snapshot cannot be reconstructed reliably and are not retroactively assigned a violation.
