Understand plays and Studio analytics

Know the difference between playback activity and qualified plays.

Playback and qualification

A playback event and a qualified play are different measures. Infindity applies its listening qualification rules before counting a qualified play; repeatedly pressing play does not guarantee additional qualified activity.

Studio insights

Use Insights to inspect the available listener and release statistics. Release records also show their available plays, listeners and likes. Reporting can update after listening activity is processed.

Previews and unavailable music

Private review previews and social previews should not be treated as equivalent to qualified listener activity. Taken-down music can retain historical statistics even though it is no longer publicly playable.
