Understand Release IDs, UPCs and ISRCs

Know which identifier belongs to your release or recording.

Infindity Release ID

This alphanumeric ID identifies a release record inside Infindity. Copy it from Studio when contacting support or restoring an eligible taken-down release. It is separate from a song's ID and its public URL.

UPC

A UPC identifies a release as a product. If you already have an assigned UPC, enter the correct one. It is optional on Infindity. Infindity does not invent official UPCs from an unauthorized number range.

ISRC

An ISRC identifies a particular recording. Reuse the recording's existing ISRC when appropriate; a different recording can require a different code. Obtain codes through an authorized ISRC agency, registrant or distributor. An Infindity Release ID is not an ISRC.

Existing music

Keep original identifiers where they legitimately belong. Adding a code does not prove copyright ownership or distribute music to external services.
